No surprises after the machine shows up. Here is what we ask of you, how payment works, and what mulching does to your ground — in plain words.
Collected to schedule the work and hold your date.
Due when the agreed scope of work is finished.
Every job starts with a written quote and an agreed scope of work — you approve both before any deposit is collected. On a $2,200 project that is $1,100 to schedule and $1,100 on completion.
Before we start, please remove nails, wire, cable, rebar, fencing, and any other metal from the areas we will be working. Metal gets stuck in the machine and stops the job cold — a site cleared of metal is a site we can finish on schedule.
If we are held up by something outside our control — metal or debris left in the work area, blocked access, or a site that is not ready — that waiting time is billed. The rate is confirmed in your written quote.
Mulching is weather-dependent work. Rain, saturated ground, or unsafe conditions mean we pause and pick up at the next safe opening. We keep you posted and move the date as soon as the ground allows.
Heavy machinery rolls over your land. Tracks will rut, compact, and scar grass, turf, and soil in the work area and along the route in and out. We will use track protectors where applicable, and we include grass seed at the end of the job if there are ruts. Beyond that, this damage is normal, and it is not covered.
If the land is not prepared first — metal, debris, or obstacles left in the work area — it can damage the machine. When that happens, the cost of repairing the machine is charged to the owner.
We clear the land we are hired to clear and leave the mulch where it lies. We do not warrant grass regrowth, weed suppression, soil results, or the condition of turf, landscaping, or drainage before or after the work.
Let’s walk your property and put a clear plan in place.
